I was born in Shiraz, Iran and received my BSc. Degree in water engineering in Iran. I got my MSc. degree And Ph.D. degree in environmental engineering from the University of Politecnico di Milano. Since Feb. 2022, I have been working in DICA at Politecnico di Milano, as a Postdoctoral researcher. During my professional career, I was working on the environmental risk assessment and monitoring of water quality, removal of micropollutants (MPs) from the aquatic environment, and robustness of tree wastewater treatment plants in the Milan area against MPs. I was a visiting researcher at the Technical University of Delft (TUD) focusing on monitoring the organic micropollutants in the water cycle of the Netherlands and finding the impact factors to reduce environmental contamination.
